DiSC® is another type of profiling tool concentrating on Personality Types rather than Behavioural/thinking Types. DiSC®is an acronym that stands for Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance. There are many variations on this tool., such as Everything DiSC®. We have several associates who can work with this. We prefer to market Global DiSC® which is aimed at interculturality. See below
Intercultural Preference Profiling
Cultural differences are clashes of common senses. Cultural intelligence is simply the ability to see a situation from multiple angles so we can make better decisions and choose the optimal response instead of just reacting as usual.
Cognitive Diversity covers perspectives, interpretations, heuristics and predictive models, Intercultural models focus on statistically average values, the WHY, of different nationalities and maybe generations. – 80% of cultural differences are within countries, not between them and we all belong to 15-20 cultural groups at once. The goal is to develop the ability to see a situation from different perspectives so they can make better decisions and choose to respond instead of just reacting.
